In the year after the College was judged to be Outstanding by Ofsted and the Diocese, St. Bede’s pupils have achieved the best ever GCSE results, placing the College amongst the very best in the country.
Year 11 consisted of 189 pupils all of whom sat GCSE’s and a number of whom took AS level examinations, one year early.

Elizabeth Anne Barker achieved the Best in College award with 7A*, 2A, 1B and 2C at GCSE and B in Religious Studies at AS level.
George Magner achieved the Best Boy in College award with 6A*, 4A and 1C at GCSE and A in Religious Studies at AS level.
The top eight boys were Alexandre Morgan 4A*, 6A ,1B,1C and A in AS Level Mathematics; Gareth O Duffy 10A*grades at GCSE and A in Mathematics at AS level; Thomas Gleeson 9A*, 1A at GCSE and A in Mathematics at AS level; Andrew Fahey 9A*, 1B and 1C; Quang Nguyen 6A*, 3A, 1B and 1C at GCSE and B in Mathematics at AS level; Stephen Abernethy 6A*, 3A, 1B and 1C, at GCSE and B in Religious Studies at AS level; Benjamin Summers 2A*, 6A and 2B at GCSE and B in Religious Studies at AS level and Ignatius Hadi 4A*and 6A at GCSE and C in Mathematics at AS level.
The top eight girls included Sara Lage with 5A*, 6A and 1C at GCSE and C in Religious Studies at AS level; Martha Jackson 10A* and 1A grade, Florence Fagan 5A*and 5A grades at GCSE and B in Religious Studies at AS level; Hayley McNamee 1A*,7A and 1B and B in Religious Studies at AS level; Denni Mitchell 3A*,6A and 2B grades; Anita Raju 3A*, 5A, 2B and 2C grades; Hannah Burke 1A*,6A and 3B grades at GCSE and C in Religious Studies at AS level and Catherine McKee 6A*,4A and 1C grade.
